Tournament Format

Each team is guaranteed four matches. No coaches meeting is planned. The format will be round-robin pool play followed by championship bracket or pool play. All matches (pool and playoff) will be the best two of three. 9B teams were assigned randomly to two separate divisions.

At the conclusion of pool play, teams will be grouped by pool finish into playoff brackets or pools. Pool finish will be determined by match record, then game win percentage, then point differential, with ties broken by a coin toss. There will be medals for the first and second-place teams in the championship divisions only. Ten-minute warm-up (five and five including serving) for all rounds including playoffs. R1 is provided for each match. In alignment with our South Suburban Conference COVID recommendations, matches will be played without R2 or line judges.
